The Challenge
How To Provide Secure And Low Cost Flight Check-In And Boarding Pass Printing
Mobile is reshaping the hospitality industry. Guests use mobile for reservations, check-in, checkout, and folio services.
Printing boarding passes require connection to printers that is harder to accomplish with each guests phone. Therefore Marriott wanted to provide dedicated, low-cost boarding pass printing station to the guests.
The Solution
Customer Facing Devices With Custom Built App And Secure Peripherals
Marriott installed custom-built Digital Kiosks that are connected to a printer. Guests enter their flight information and can print boarding passes in an instant. The kiosk wipes all personal information at the end of guest’s session. This has delighted Marriott customers and increased brand loyalty.
- Moki Total Control Enables Marriott To:
- Provide secure and interactive experience to guest by locking down tablet to show the check-in app only.
- Securely connect with the approved printer.
- Remotely manage all Digital Kiosks and app. If an airline changes the check-in workflow, Marriott can instantaneously push necessary app updates.
- Remotely analyze all Digital Interactions, device health and app status. Make instantaneous changes when and where needed.
